Any person that handles food (as well as their employer) has a legal duty to manage food safety. These obligations in particular, are set out by a number of EU and UK Laws. The Laws state that food handlers must ensure that food which is to be prepared, cooked, served or sold, is safe for human consumption. Of course, failing to adhere to these standards can cause food to become contaminated with potentially fatal consequences.
Undertaking this food safety catering course will provide you (or your employees) with a greater knowledge about food awareness. Furthermore you will understand the dangers that poor food safety standards poses, in addition to understanding what steps can be taken to control and prevent them.
