Principles of communication in health and social care may sometimes be challenging. It is essential you are aware of your service users needs, so you can support them. It is vital whichever method you use to communicate is clear, appropriate and effective.
If the information is confused, or inaccurate it can lead to mistakes, which leave a negative view of the service. Care workers will form many relationships in their role, some formal, some less so. It is important your communication does not blur the boundaries.
