Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility: irrespective of your gender, race, age, religion, background or ethnicity you have a right to lead a healthy happy and safe life.
Certain groups of vulnerable people may be more at risk of harm: for example children, those with disability, or the elderly.
The majority of children will be brought up in caring, loving, safe homes and will be nurtured to grow and develop into secure, happy and well rounded adults. However for some children this isn’t always the case.
Abuse takes many forms and safeguarding is about identifying those risks and taking steps to minimise them in order to keep the child safe and away from harm.
While this subject may be distressing to some individuals, is vital to teach you not only how to recognise the signs and symptoms of possible abuse, but also in knowing what actions to take.
In undertaking this Safeguarding Children training course you will be better equipped to protect those children in your care.
This course consists of 5 modules with questions at the end of each module.
