I am sorry there has been a longer than usual gap in our blogs but the summer has run away with us! We have however had plenty going on behind the scenes:
The team is expanding:
We would like to welcome Vickie and John, officially to our team. They both have an impressive work CV and are ex police officers. I believe both will be a valuable addition to our team, and I look forward to working with them over the coming months and years.
Sara, our new administrator has settled in beautifully and is doing a great job of keeping our admin ship shape. If you have any admin queries you can contact her directly on email@example.com
The QCPR adult manikins are proving very popular with our clients. Trainees love trying to beat their own CPR scores, and there is always some healthy competition to try and beat each others scores too! We have now found we can upgrade the junior manikins to this technology too. We have placed an order for the new equipment, and can’t wait for it to arrive so we can test it out!
Whilst on the subject of technology: The current projector Cheryl uses wasn’t providing her with as clear an image as she would like. A new projector with the latest capabilities for digital displays is also winging its way to us! This should make the film footage we use far easier to view, with an even crisper image than we had before.
Some of you may of seen our new wound training aids on our social media pages. These have been with us for a few months now, and have been well tested by both business clients and the girl guides! The Girl Guides loved using them and declared them totally “sic,” which for those of you that don’t speak “teenager” is a good thing!
Our new control and administration of medication in schools course has now been fully put together and is ready for delivery.
We are considering offering the combined first aid at work & paediatric first aid course. This course caters for those working with both adults and children. Historically, you would of completed two separate courses to gain this qualification. However much of the content overlaps, so both courses can now be combined in one qualification. Is this something your school would be interested in? If so please get in touch to let us know.
Our next open paediatric course for individuals, is running on 29th September and 6th October in Larkfield, Kent. We do have a few spaces left so if you would like to join us, we would love to have you! Just get in touch to book your space.
September is historically a very busy month so our availability is now severely limited. If you were thinking about booking, please don’t delay! We have plenty of availability for Autumn and our 2019 diary is now open.
