As The World Starts To Reopen

5 Jun 2020

We are aware this has been a stressful, worrying time for many of us. As the world begins to reopen , we have been seeking advice how we do the same.

I’m pleased to announce that following guidance made this week, we have a clearer understanding about the “new” way first aid will need to be delivered. Our clients safety, and peace of mind is at the heart of everything we do.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to update our policies, stock up on PPE and keep abreast of the changes. Our Covid policy is available to view at any time. As it is a dynamic document that is constantly under review, it would not be approriate to add here. The policy is likely to change many times but will always be emailed to you prior to the course.

Angel Training will be returning fully, to all aspects of course instruction next month.

Reassuring you…

The course may look different than the way you have previously known, but these changes are necessary for safety, and peace of mind. This is for both the individual attendees, but also the client, as we preserve the integrity of qualification.

Here are a few key points to give you an idea of how the course may be delivered (depending on the course)

  1. Social distancing will be applied for the theory part of the course, which may limit numbers
  2. Screening questions on health of attendees will be asked prior to arrival. Infrared no contact temperatures taken on the day of the course, and a screening protocol for 14 days after the course. This is part of a test and tracking system.
  3. PPE will be available and worn by attendees (and trainer) during practicals.
  4. Reduced contact time may be suggested such as theory parts completed online before practical sessions.

We do hope to see many of you back in the coming weeks and months. It is likely dates will now start to book, so even if you are not ready to train yet, why not book in for a future date to secure your slot?

Some of you have received training via Zoom courses during lockdown and have fed back this has worked better for your organisation. If this has worked for you, we are happy to continue to offer these courses (in certain topics.)

If you have any questions, or comments please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

See you all soon!
