Duty of care is something all health and social care workers have. Organisations providing these services, have a requirement to put the service users first and foremost.
Within your role you may come across a variety of people, from different backgrounds. They may have a variety of needs, and their wishes and beliefs may not align with your own.
Your duty of care is to ensure they are kept free from harm, kept safe, and free from injury or abuse.
