End of life care is supporting someone in the end stages of their life. This may last for some weeks or months. The process will involve a number of people and undoubtedly, can be a difficult process emotionally.
It is important the person is treated with the utmost dignity. That the care is holistic, taking into account their personal wishes. End of life care must be dealt with compassionately and sensitively.
This online end of life course will explore what to expect, and how the situation should be handled. The course will also encourage you to explore your own emotions and how to work professionally with the others involved.
