The course explores the issues the world is facing including global climate change, greenhouse gases, carbon, acid rain and loss of biodiversity.

The end of the course will focus on waste to energy schemes, waste management hierarchy and water and oil storage,. This will include planning for hazardous substance spillages and compiling spillage reports.
