First Aid at Work Re-qualification

Our First Aid at Work Re-qualification is an FAIB approved course. Allowing you to re-qualify your first aid at work certificate. Consequently you will be required to produce your valid certificate at the time of booking.

For the most part, students already possess the basic knowledge, so we will be covering scenarios and proposed treatments in more detail. Therefore not only refreshing your understanding, but coupled with enhanced practical skills and greater confidence.

This course is a nationally recognised qualification so fully meets the requirements and terms of the First Aid regulations.

In addition to the listed course content we can also include treatment of catastrophic bleeding as part of the course at no extra cost. This is not relevant to all settings, however, if you feel this would be beneficial for your area, then please discuss with us at the time of booking. If booking as a trainer led fully onsite course, the duration is 2 days.

The same course can also be delivered as a blended option. To begin with you will cover the E learning module. The E learning package is designed to be as interactive as possible with videos, downloadable resources, scenarios coupled with questions to check understanding. You can complete this whenever you wish, providing of course, it’s before the face to face session. This part does not need to be completed in one sitting, in fact we recommend allowing plenty of time to complete it so you can take the content in fully without feeling rushed.

The second trainer led module, is held in the classroom. Your instructor will ensure you have full and complete understanding of the practical skills necessary. The practical session will focus specifically on hands-on skills that you have learnt about on the online module such as CPR, AED, Choking, Wounds, Slings, Recovery postion, and use of the auto injectors. If choosing this option it will be one classroom day, and around 6 hours online work.
