The Early Years Foundation Stage is frequently shorted to EYFS. The introduction to EYFS course is aimed at those working with children, up to and including in reception class.
This is a gentle introduction to what is expected at this stage, and can also act as a good refresher for CPD purposes for those already in the field. The EYFS course will introduce key documents and legislation relating to EYFS. Additionally, it will cover the process of registering with Ofsted and the polices and processes required.
Finally it will cover the learning and development requirements, how to record observations and assess progress of the children in your care whilst conforming to the EYFS framework.
