Paediatric Basic Life Support is a half-day training course comprising both theory and practical. Generally speaking this course is ideal for people wanting a basic grounding in paediatric first aid. After completing this course you will not be permitted to count in ratios as a first aider, but will have essential first aid skills.
Plenty of hands on time will be included so you can be confident about you new skills. A range of baby and children manikins will be available.

Anyone wishing to get basic understand of paediatric first aid. This could include voluntary organisations, or settings where parents remain with the children but staff are required to have some basic skills.
