Combined Emergency First Aid at Work and Paediatric first Aid

Our combined emergency first aid at work and paediatric first aid qualification is designed for those working with adults and children. You will learn how to respond to both adult and paediatric emergencies, in addition to meeting the OFSTED/Health and Safety Executive requirements.

The course is split into two components. To begin with you will cover the E learning module. The E learning package is designed to be as interactive as possible with videos, downloadable resources, scenarios coupled with questions to check understanding. You can complete this whenever you wish, providing of course, it’s before the face to face session. This part does not need to be completed in one sitting, in fact we recommend allowing plenty of time to complete it so you can take the content in fully without feeling rushed.

The second trainer led module, is held in the classroom. Your instructor will ensure you have full and complete understanding of the practical skills necessary. The practical session will focus specifically on hands-on skills that you have learnt about on the online module such as CPR, AED, Choking, Wounds, Slings, Recovery postion, and use of the auto injectors.

After booking we will go through timescales with you, and when your online part must be completed by. Completion on both parts are required in order to gain the full qualification. After the course you will retain access to the online part which is an excellent resource to refer back to later.
