The depression awareness course reviews types of depression and other associated conditions, including psychotic depression and how it can be managed. Depression can affect you both physically and socially as well as mentally, so during this course it will look at the roles of diet and exercise as part of a management plan and thinking about the importance of work life balance.
A variety of management techniques will be explored including medication, relaxation, behavioural and talking therapies.
