It is true that some age ranges, and some client groups do put them at an increased risk of diabetes, however it is a serious lifelong condition. If left untreated hyperglycaemia (high blood glucose levels) can cause serious complications. Whilst hypoglycaemia (low glucose levels) can be fatal.
The diabetes awareness course will explore common symptoms of diabetes, along with methods of diagnosis. Furthermore, the course explores both possible treatments but also potential complications.
