Food Safety Level 2 (Retail)

Any person that handles food (as well as their employer) has a legal duty to manage food safety. These obligations are illustrated by a number of EU and UK Laws. The Laws state that food handlers must ensure that food which is to be prepared, cooked, served or sold, is safe for human consumption. Failing to adhere to these standards can obviously cause food to become contaminated but worst of all with potentially fatal consequences.

Undertaking the Food Safety Retail course will understandably provide you (or your employees) with a greater knowledge about food awareness. Such as the dangers that poor food safety standards poses, as well as understanding what steps can be taken to control and prevent them.

Level 2 Awards are suited for anyone working in a retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.
