This one day Paediatric Emergency First Aid is a 6 hour training course. Learners will practise assessing and treating a variety of conditions from minor injuries to more life threatening conditions. This course is suitable for those not required to comply with the Childcare Register for Ofsted.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete practical assessments. All candidates will receive a printed manual.

On successful completion of the course you will receive an FAIB, nationally recognised First Aid certificate valid for three years.

For those working with babies and children but not required to comply with EYFS guidanace for Ofsted. Staff undertaking this training may not be counted in staff ratios within nurseries, or preschools. If you are required to comply with ofsteds childcare register then you will require the full Paediatric First Aid (12 hour) course.
