Paediatric First Aid (12 hour)

The Paediatric First Aid course is a full 12 hour qualification which is trainer led over two days. It fully meets the OFSTED/EYFS requirements. Both days are required to be completed in full, to receive a nationally recogonised first aid qualification. 

This qualification (or our blended version) is required for staff working towards an NVQ in childcare, or those who work in EYFS. 

This paediatric first aid course can also be delivered via blended learning. This is up to 6 hours of E learning which can be conducted at your convenience, provided it's completed before the second module, which is face to face with an instructor.

A nationally recogonised first aid certificate in Paediatric First Aid (12 hour) valid for 3 years. This is an FAIB (First aid Industry Body), accredited certificate.

This course is ideal for anyone working with children in either schools, creches, playgroups,  or early years settings such as nurseries or preschools. This course is fully compliant with Ofsted guidelines so also suitable for those working towards NVQ's in childcare.

Students will be continually assessed by the instructor throughout the two days on aspects of the practical skills. A multiple choice written paper is also required. Students must achieve a pass mark of 80% for anyone who may have difficulties with this, we can offer to read or scribe the paper for them. There is no set time limit for completion so students who require more time to complete this will be catered for. 

£575 for up to 12 people when held at your venue. Includes one manual per person.
