The person centred care course is about looking at the individual in a holistic way. This means keeping the person, front and centre in your decision making process.
Person centred care is a term that has been used since the 1940's and means tailoring care to suit the individual. Our course will look at the use of the terminology, how to tailor care and indeed why it is important.
Additionally the person centred care course, looks at the principles of current legislation. It explains how it must be followed by all care professionals. Finally looking at case studies, importance of gaining consent and tailoring care plans and daily reports.
