Safe administration of medication is vital to keep everyone safe and to adhere to legislation. This course is a half day course suitable for staff within private healthcare, or medical settings. Additionally, its suitable for any organisations that administer or dispense medication to others.
During the safe administration of medication course we will explore the legislation of dispensing medication, as well as local policies. By all means, if you would like to give us a copy of your medication policy we will discuss this on the course.
Please note this course does not cover the use of rectal medications.
If required this course may be extended to a full day's training by adding on one of our other short courses. If two courses are held on the same day we will offer a discounted rate. A handout will be given to each attendee.

Anyone who may be required to give medication as part of their role. This could include support workers, those in nursing or residential settings, or domicillary workers.
