Workplaces are legally required to ensure they balance risks of stress at work. Part of this can be by having a robust workplace mental health policy, and mental health first aiders. This works by promoting a good mental health culture, recognising when staff need extra support, and being able to have open dialogue about it.
The course begins by exploring the impact on both individuals, and the business of poor mental health. Then the course looks at the many benefits of building a positive culture around mental health, and possible interventions.
Completing this supervising mental health at work course, will enable you to learn the main areas where work related stress is present and how to recognise when it’s creating increased stress to employees.
