Working Safely

Working safely is vital, as everyone has an expectation to return home at the the end of the working day. Under health and safety law, both employers and employees have an obligation to work safely. Whilst many of the legal duties are the responsibility of the employer, duties are also places on employees as well.  It really is in the interest of all staff to take this seriously and it should concern everyone.

Working safely is important for many reasons, not only is it the law, but financially the costs of unsafe practice could soon add up and affect your bottom line. Colleagues will feel safer in the working environment and moral will be boosted which will bring benefits for all concerned. This course has 7 modules with questions at the end of each module.

Many people believe accidents are something that happens "to other people" this really is not the case. By not following safe practice or by not observing health and safety laws everyone is at risk.
